Program Energy and Climate Change

The total value of the "Energy and Climate Change" Program is EUR 20 million, of which EUR 17 million is financed from the EEA financial mechanism, and the remaining EUR 3 million from the state budget of the Republic of Croatia. The goal of the Program is increased use of energy technology with lower carbon emissions and increased security of supply.

Areas of Program focus include renewable energy, energy efficiency, energy security, mitigating the effects of climate change and adaptation to climate change. Special areas of interest within the Program are the implementation of energy efficiency measures in almost zero-energy buildings and the encouragement of the use of renewable energy sources, including geothermal energy and solar energy.
