Fakultet elektrotehnike i računarstva Sveučilišta u Zagrebu (FER) uspješno je proveo projekt izgradnje solarne elektrane i baterijskog spremnika, a tijek projekta, rezultati i budući planovi predstavljeni su na završnoj konferenciji održanoj u ponedjeljak, 29. travnja 2024., u prostorijama FER-a. Projekt ”Fotonaponski sustav za proizvodnju električne energije za vlastite potrebe u mrežnom radu SE-FER-005 –Faza 1”, skraćenog naziva SOLAR-FER, ukupne vrijednosti 815.000,00 EUR financiran je od Islanda, Lihtenštajna i Norveške putem Financijskog mehanizma Europskog gospodarskog prostora (EGP) 2014.–2021. uz nacionalno sufinanciranje Republike Hrvatske u iznosu 693.000,00 EUR bespovratnih sredstava u okviru Programa „Energija i klimatske promjene”.
FER je proteklih godina proveo niz infrastrukturnih i razvojnih projekata u području održive energetike: postavljene su dvije manje solarne elektrane i niz baterijskih spremnika, razvijen je vlastiti sustav upravljanja potrošnjom energije, instalirane su punionice za električna vozila. Ali, novim projektom „Fotonaponski sustav za proizvodnju električne energije za vlastite potrebe u mrežnom radu SE-FER-005 –Faza 1“ sve je podignuto na razinu iznad. Nova solarna elektrana kapaciteta je 600 kW i zajedno s baterijskim spremnikom omogućit će lokalnu proizvodnju i potrošnju gotovo 50% ukupnih energetskih potreba FER-a.
Na završnoj konferenciji sudjelovali su i predstavnici upravitelja programa iz Ministarstva regionalnoga razvoja i fondova Europske unije, predstavnici donatora Maja Dodić i Gro Bakke iz norveške ambasade, Ivan Šimić iz REA Sjever, predstavnici Energetskog instituta Hrvoje Požar, dr. sc. Ivan Andročec iz HEP-a i Marko Kućan iz grada Zagreba.
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb (FER) has successfully completed a project to build a solar power plant and battery storage system. The project’s progress, results, and future plans were presented at the final conference held on Monday, April 29, 2024, at FER’s premises. The project, “Photovoltaic System for Self-Consumption in Grid Operation SE-FER-005 – Phase 1”, abbreviated as SOLAR-FER, with a total value of 815,000.00 EUR, was funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway through the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area (EEA) 2014–2021, with national co-financing from the Republic of Croatia amounting to 693,000.00 EUR in grants under the “Energy and Climate Change” Program.
In recent years, FER has implemented a series of infrastructure and development projects in the field of sustainable energy: two smaller solar power plants and several battery storage systems have been installed, an in-house energy consumption management system has been developed, and electric vehicle charging stations have been installed. However, the new project “Photovoltaic System for Self-Consumption in Grid Operation SE-FER-005 – Phase 1” has taken everything to the next level. The new solar power plant has a capacity of 600 kW and, together with the battery storage, will enable local production and consumption of almost 50% of FER’s total energy needs.
Representatives from the program’s managing authority in the Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, donors’ representatives Maja Dodić and Gro Bakke from the Norwegian Embassy, Ivan Šimić from REA North, representatives from the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar, Dr. Ivan Andročec from HEP, and Marko Kućan from the City of Zagreb also participated in the final conference.
